Mr J BULL (Sunbury) (17:24:27): Yesterday I joined the member for Yuroke, the Parliamentary Secretary for Road Infrastructure; the mayor of the City of Hume, Cr Carly Moore; and Cr Drew Jessop to visit members of our local Sri Lankan community to express our deepest sympathies for the recent terror attacks.

I commend the motion passed by the Parliament earlier today and join with other members in condemning in the strongest possible terms any act of terror.

We stand with Sri Lanka and any nation that is threatened by extremism and terror, and we extend our deepest sympathies and our condolences to the victims, their families and the people of Sri Lanka
