UPGRADING SUNBURY SCHOOLS BRICK BY BRICK

Students in Sunbury will soon have access to the first-rate classrooms and facilities they deserve, with work under way upgrading Salesian College Sunbury.

Member for Sunbury Josh Bull today announced Prebuilt Pty Ltd has been appointed to build Salesian’s $5 million upgrade, which will help it deliver a 21st century education.

Thanks to the Andrews Labor Government’s 2020-21 Non-Government Schools Capital Fund, the upgrade will see construction of a Food Technology Centre and refurbishment of the STEM Battery Building and Design Manufacturing Learning Centre.

This upgrade will create local jobs, with work expected to be completed by late 2022.

Under the Andrews Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.

The Andrews Labor Government has invested $7.2 billion to deliver more than 1,460 school upgrades, supporting over 7,500 construction jobs for Victorians.

The Labor Government is building the Education State so that every student can access a great local school and get a quality education.
