MAKING GLADSTONE PARK AND TULLAMARINE QUIETER

Member for Sunbury Josh Bull today encouraged all Gladstone Park and Tullamarine local residents to attend the next round of community information sessions about the new noise walls being built along the Tullamarine Freeway.

The old timber noise walls in Gladstone Park and Tullamarine are being replaced and upgraded as part of the CityLink Tulla Widening Project.

Local residents have already influenced the design of the new noise walls and local residents will be able to see more detailed information about height, materials, colour, timing and access.

The Gladstone Park Community Centre on Wednesday 2 November from 6.30pm – 7.30pm will see a presentation by engineering experts and residents will be able to drop in anytime at Gladstone Park Shopping Centre on Sunday 6 November from 12 noon – 2pm.

Local residents will also be able to live stream into the session on 2 November via the CityLink Tulla Widening website, YouTube or Facebook.

Residents will also be able to view an interactive video that will allow them to walk into their backyards in a virtual reality world and see what the noise walls will look like from their home.

VicRoads is doorknocking residents directly affected by the new noise walls.

The CityLink Tulla Widening Project is expected to be completed by mid 2018.
