A GREAT SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR SUNBURY FAMILIES

Hundreds of students with disabilities across Sunbury will benefit from better classrooms and school buildings thanks to a funding injection by the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Sunbury Josh Bull today announced $10.8 million for upgrades to the Sunbury campus of the Sunbury and Macedon Ranges Special School at Jacksons Hill to give these students the best buildings and classrooms so they can have the very best education.

The funding is in addition to the $4.2 million announced recently for the schools Bullengarook Senior campus.

Victoria’s special schools provide an important option for families of children with disabilities – offering specialised education programs and support to ensure every student, wherever they go to school, gets the individual attention they deserve.

The Victorian School Building Authority will now start working with schools to determine the scope of their upgrades and how they can best be delivered.

The Labor Government is building the Education State so every Victorian student can get a great education and every community has access to a great local school.
