Sunbury

Only 30 kilometres North of Melbourne’s CBD, the Seat of Sunbury is a diverse area with strong and vibrant communities. Situated on the border of urban and rural, Sunbury is home to densely populated suburbs and open farmland.

The seat is dominated by Melbourne ‘Tullamarine’ Airport, which is not only a major employer and driver of the state economy but its presence makes the Sunbury district the gateway to Victoria.

Sunbury has many unique and historically important places to visit and explore, including the oldest homestead in Victoria ‘Emu Bottom’, the birthplace of the Ashes, award-winning wineries, parklands and community events.

Towns and communities within Sunbury include Bulla, Diggers Rest, Gladstone Park, Gowanbrae, Melbourne Airport, Sunbury, Tullamarine and Wildwood. As well as parts of Clarkefield, Keilor, Mickleham and Westmeadows.
